Abstract:"Child- and gender-sensitive features of cash transfer programming aim, on the one hand, to improve investment in human capital and thus address the intergenerational cycle of poverty and, on the other hand, to promote women's economic and social empowerment and gender equality. This Policy Research Brief seeks to outline different strategies that have been adopted in programme administration by linking different features of cash transfer programmes (CTPs) with evidence of their child- and gender-sensitive outcomes".
