Abstract:Over the past years, Mozambique has made significant advances in public funding for responses to slow-onset emergencies such as droughts. However, challenges remain and it will be necessary to develop the system even further. Moreover, to better integrate social protection instruments in early action plans, it is necessary to improve and adapt the existing funding tools.
